Aloo ka Pakora or Potato Fritters or Aloo Ki Bajji

 

Ingredients

Methods

1)- Wash and peel the potatoes and cut them into thin round slices.

2)- Take the gram flour in a bowl add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garlic paste, coriander leaves and salt. Mix well.

3)- Add water in a gram flour mixture and mix well. The better should neither too thick nor too thin.

4)- Heat the oil in a frying pan. When oil starts to smoke, reduce the heat to medium.

5)- In the previously prepared gram flour mixture add two tablespoons of this hot oil and mix well. Now your batter is ready for frying.
6)- Now take one potatoes slice and dip into the better. Make sure the potato slice coated with the better from all sides.

7)- Cook in medium flame until all sides are golden brown, with the spatula take them out of the oil and place them in a plate over the paper towel so that extra oil is absorbed by the towel.

8)-Repeat the process until all the pakoras are made.
9)- Serve the pakoras hot with coriander chutney or tomato sauce or Tea.
