Ingredients
- Potatoes – 14 (small size) or 3 Normal size
- Onion – 1 tablespoon (chopped)
- Green chilies – 3-4 (chopped)
- Mustard oil – 1/2 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves – 1/2 tablespoon (Optional)
Instructions
- Wash the potatoes to remove any visible dirt. Take a pressure cooker on medium heat. Add the Potatoes and 1/2 liter of water to a pressure cooker. Close the lid tightly and pressure cook on a high flame for 2 whistles. Turn off the flame and let it sit for 10 minutes for the pressure to release completely.
- Peel the boiled potatoes. In a bowl, take boiled potatoes and mashed with salt.
- Add chopped onion, green chilies and mustard oil and mix gently to combine. Taste and adjust the seasonings of the potato mixture as needed.
- Indian aloo ka bharta (mashed potato) is ready to serve.
