The cloud eggs phenomenon has taken the Instagram world by storm some months back. This weather themed recipe was everywhere.  It appeared, Instagram had found a new recipe.  However, the recipe for cloud eggs has been known for hundreds of years , possibly under the  recipe name “Oeufs à la Neige” ( Eggs in the snow).

So here’s how you make your Instagram friendly, cute and fluffy breakfast.

Ingredients

Method

1- Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
2- Separate the egg yolk from the whites. Placing the egg whites in a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
3- Add salt, black pepper and parmesan cheese and mix well by cut and fold method.
4- Create 2 mounds of egg whites on the parchment paper. Bake 3 minutes or until slightly golden.
5- Remove egg whites from the oven and place one yolk in the center of each mounds and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
6- Bake until the yolks are just set or about 3 minutes more.
7- Serve immediately.
