Ingredients
1st marination
- Mutton Chop pieces – 6-7 pieces
- Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
2nd marination
- Lemon Juice – 2 tablespoon
- Red chili powder – 1 tablespoon
- Coriander powder – 1/2 tablespoon
- Salt – 1 teaspoon or as per your taste
- Oil – 2 tablespoons
- Water – 1 cup
Method
- Take a bowl and add ginger-garlic paste, and salt to the mutton chops. Mix it well. Take a pressure cooker and heat it over medium heat. Add the marinated mutton chops and water, then close the lid tightly. Pressure cook on medium flame for 6-7 whistles. Turn off the flame and let it sit for 10 minutes for the pressure to release completely.
- Once the pressure has released, open the cooker and remove all the mutton pieces. Now, add lemon juice, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Be careful, as you have already added salt when pressure cooking.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, shallow fry the mutton chops. First, cook them on higher heat for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat and cook for another 20 minutes, or until the mutton is cooked from all sides properly. Set aside all the pieces.
- Serve hot with onion salad.
