Egg Omelette
Omelette is classic protein packed breakfast. While you can argue whether you should cook full eggs or just the egg whites, There is no argument that adding veggies incredibly improves the nutrition value of an omelette.
Heres a quick healthy omelette recipe.
Ingredients
- Eggs – 2
- Small onion (finely chopped) – 1
- Green chili (finely chopped) – 1-2 or as per your taste
- Small tomato (chopped) – 1 tablespoon
- Milk – 1/2 tsp
- Chopped coriander leaves – 1 tablespoon (Optional)
- Salt to taste
- Green peas – 1 tablespoon
- Green capsicum – 1 tablespoon
- Oil for fry – 2 tablespoons
Method
1 – Crack the eggs in a large bowl and beat the eggs with milk until it foams.
2- Add onions, tomatoes, green chilies, coriander, salt and peas. Mix well.
3- Heat oil in a frying pan on medium flame and pour the mixture. Move the pan around to spread them out evenly.
4- Cook over low heat till mixture is firm and flip it and fry the other side.
5- serve hot with french fries or sausage.
