Ingredients
For Chicken Balls
- Mutton Mince – 500 grams
- Onion – 2 (chopped)
- Green Chilies – 2 (chopped)
- Garlic pods – 2 (chopped)
- Ginger – 2 grams (chopped)
- Coriander leaves – 10 grams (chopped)
- Egg – 1
- Black Pepper – 1/2 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
For Sauce
- Onion – 3, medium sized (chopped)
- Tomato – 1 (chopped)
- Tomato for paste – 2
- Garlic – 15 grams (chopped)
- White Pepper – 1 teaspoon
- Oregano flakes – 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar – 1/4 teaspoon
- salt to taste
- Oil – 1 tablespoon
- Butter – 1 tablespoon
- Kashmiri red chili – 1 tablespoon
For Coating
- Bread Crumbs – 1 cup
- White pepper – 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
For Chicken Balls
- In a big bowl, combine the mutton mince, coriander leaves, garlic, ginger, green chilies, onion, salt, black pepper & egg and mix everything well together. Take some meat mixture and gently roll between your hands and roll in breadcrumbs.
- Pour a two tablespoons of oil into the frying pan. When oil is hot enough then reduce the heat. Now drop a small ball (making sure the pan is not too crowded) in the hot oil, and cook in medium flame.
- Cook about 7 to 8 minutes making sure to turn on each side so that the meatballs are fully cooked. Repeat with remaining meatballs. Drain on absorbent paper.
For Sauce
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and butter in a wok over medium high heat. Add chopped garlic and stir-fry for a few seconds. Add onion and cook until translucent. Now add tomato paste, salt, sugar, white pepper and kashmiri red chili and mix well.
- After 2-3 minutes add tomato paste and oregano flakes and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Place the meatballs in the tomato sauce, cover and cook for 10 minutes over medium low heat. After 10 minutes remove from heat.
- Serve with Pasta, Bread etc.
