  • Gram flour (besan) – 1 cup
  • Yogurt (dahi) – 1 cup
  • Water – 1 ½ cups
  • Ginger-green chili paste – 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon
  • Salt to taste

Stuffing

  • Grated coconut – 4 tablespoons
  • Chopped fresh coriander leaves – 4 tablespoons

Tempering

  • Oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds – 1 teaspoon
  • A pinch of asafoetida (hing)

Garnishing

  • Grated coconut – 2 tablespoons
