- Radish greens ( Mooli leaves) – 400 grams
- Radish – 2 (small size)
- Chopped garlic – 1/2 tablespoon
- Dry Red Chili – 1
- Salt to taste
- Mustard oil – 1/2 tablespoon
Method
- Begin by gently separating the radish greens from the roots, ensuring to discard any damaged or yellow leaves. Chop up the radishes and set aside.


- Next, thoroughly wash the radish greens. Repeat the rinsing process until the water runs clear. Then, finely chop the greens.





- Heat some mustard oil in a pan. Toss in chopped garlic and dry red chili, sautéing until the garlic turns a light brown hue.



- Add the chopped radishes, a pinch of salt, and the radish greens to the pan. Mix everything together, cover the pan, and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the saag is fully cooked. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.




- Once the saag is cooked and there are no excess liquids in the pan, turn off the flame.
