Neem Pata Bhaja or neem ki Bhajiya or neem Leaves Fry
Today, i am sharing with you a medicinal, nutritious and healthy recipe. Neem leaves mostly used in diabetes, chicken pox skin ulcer and also use in hair problem. Neem leaves generally used in early summer (the month of march – April as per English calendar or month of chaitra as per Hindu calendar). It is a typical Bengali recipe and very popular in bengal.
Ingredients
- Neem leaves – 4 bunches
- Clarified butter – 1 ½ teaspoons
- Salt to taste
Method
1-Pluck some newly grown neem leaves or baby neem leaves those are slightly reddish in colour, wash them and chop roughly.
2-Heat the oil in a wok.
3-When the oil is hot, add neem leaves and salt and crispy fry on a high flame for 2 minutes. Stir very well.
4-Turn off the heat.
5-Serve them with steam rice.
