Noodles Pizza(Mie Pizza)
Cooking food and sharing in company of others is one of the life’s true pleasures.
However, there are times when you are alone, and too tired or don’t have enough time to cook. Between the many essentials of life we have to eat alone. There is nothing wrong in eating alone, but you do want something quick, don’t you? The first few things that come to mind are Noodles or Pizza. How about making a pizza using noodles?
One of our friends here in Jakarta mentioned the Mie-Pizza that he used to make during his college and hostel days. Apparently, its a dish thats important for bachelors here. We wondered could Indomie (Or any other Noodle) be used as the base of pizza? how would it taste? We decided to try this out, and it was fun.
Lets get started.
Ingredients
- Noodles (boiled) – 1 packet with garnishing
- Egg – 1
- Onion – 2 tbsp (chopped) or ½ onion sliced (it’s your choice)
- Green chilli – 2 (chopped)
- Tomato – 2 tbsp
- Grated cheddar cheese
- A pinch of salt
- White oil – 1tbsp
Method
Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl with a pinch of salt and Noodle garnishing.Beat well with a fork or wire whisk, add noodles and mix well.
Put a small frying pan on a low heat and let it get hot, add 1 tbsp white oil.
Pour on the noodle mixture, spreading them evenly with a spatula.
While the maggi mixture is firm on the bottom, but still slightly runny on top. Sprinkle all of the fillings except for the cheese over the eggs.
Continue cooking the maggi mixtures until the eggs bubble on top.
Flip it and cook on high heat. After 2 second again flip it.
Sprinkle over the cheddar cheese.
Remove from pan.
Repeat the process with the rest of the mixtures.
Serve hot.
