Clean and pat dry the chicken drumstick with paper towels.
Clean and Cut 2 or 3 long slits on each piece.
First marination
In a bowl add chicken, salt, ginger paste, garlic powder, kashmiri red chili powder, red chili powder, green chili paste and lemon juice. Mix properly. This is first marinate, it's very important and keep it 20 minutes.
Second marination
In an another bowl add mustard oil, yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste dried thyme, , garam masala, black salt and salt (be careful with salt).Whisk very well.
Deep all marinated chicken drumstick in 2nd marination.
Cover and marinate for at least 2 hour.
Cooking
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees C for 10 minutes.
Bring the Chicken to room temperature before broiling or grilling.
Place chicken pieces on a wire rack in the middle rack of the oven.
Brush chicken pieces with ghee or butter and cook for 8 minutes, without turning.
Turn and broil the other side for 8 minutes.
Continue turning and basting, until chicken is cook through, about 20-30 minutes for each side or until the chicken is cooked.
Transfer chicken to platter.
